*NB: The scholars of hadeeth agree that a da'if or maudu' hadith
must not be attributed to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him
peace), e.g. by saying, "The Prophet said: ...", even if the meaning is
considered to be correct or if it is actually the saying of a Muslim scholar,
for that would be a way of lying about the Prophet (may Allah bless him
and grant him peace).
